The bread catchers will prepare all the crates to be loaded on the shipping line. Each bread catcher must control the machine speed to increase or decrease the amount of packaged bread. A typical workday was at times busy due to calls and somedays it wasn't as busy during PM's. You were not in just one area majority of the time.

Working throughout the plant made time go by. Merita Bakery I was in charge of making sure the bread got out in a timely manner, making sure the production line was running smoothly and making sure there was no issues. I enjoyed working for Merita Bakery. We had good merchandise and I was proud to say I worked for Merita. We were a team at Merita.
