Properly planned and executed surveillance missions greatly increase the probability of successful and important evidence gathering and follow-up on missions conducted against the targeted individual s , as well as the arrest of the individual s.

During this program students will participate in practical exercises utilizing different surveillance methods incorporating foot surveillance, as well as mobile vehicle surveillance. The practical exercise will be conducted in urban and rural environments where students will utilize the techniques learned. This three-day, hour course is designed for law enforcement officers assigned to a unit where conducting surveillance is part of their duties.

As it often occurs, criminal operations do not take place only during daylight hours, they most often take place at night. This surveillance class will be taught primarily at night, with specific tactics covered to achieve success while working during nighttime operations. A carefully planned and executed surveillance mission will be the difference between success and failure. During this course students will participate in practical exercises utilizing vehicle and foot surveillance.

Additionally, advanced surveillance techniques will be covered to include, but not limited to vehicle boxing and takedowns, vehicle switching, unpopulated areas, and heavily trafficked intersections. De-escalation Tactics 4 - hour virtual or 8 - hour in person training course This program can be delivered to the audience either virtually or in-person. There is a high probability that anyone who has daily human-to-human contact will interact with potentially violent individuals who abuse substances, are mentally ill, or are struggling with anger issues. This course explores the causes of escalation and outlines a realistic approach to de-escalating angry and hostile individuals while developing an exit strategy before the contact turns violent.

This program will examine effective communication techniques, human behavior, emotional responses to stress, interviewing techniques, pre-attack indicators, crisis intervention, and situational awareness. This course is beneficial for those who work in the Medical Profession, Child Welfare, Social Services, Mental Health, Education, and any other profession having contact with victims, patients, and clients.

The methodology for this course requires the use of power point, videos, and student interaction with the instructor in person or virtual. This two-day 16 hour course includes both in classroom lecture and hands-on application.

The course covers the preparedness, planning, staging, equipment and deployment for a crowd management program. Students will learn current deployment tactics for violent crowds and riots. Recent events will be reviewed and students will determine what worked vs. Who Should Attend: Any certified law enforcement officer that may be called upon and or utilized in any civil disorder, violent crowd or riot situation. This includes helmet, face shield, riot shield, baton, gas mask, ballistic vest and protective pads, as well as any additional equipment.

This rich nuclear testing history of the NNSS offers dynamic training opportunities today. Course materials are presented over a three 3 day period utilizing various learning methods, to include classroom lecture, demonstrations, and hands-on drills.

The course culminates in a multi-phased drill event where knowledge, skills, and procedures are applied. Remember though that your own education and experience plays an important role in whether or not your regulatory agency approves you as a radiation safety officer. Because the approval is very much on a case by case basis, we cannot offer an iron clad guarantee that our course will fulfill the requirements of your regulatory agency.

Radiation Safety Officer in industrial, academic, governmental and military settings. Our course is generally accepted and is appropriate training for many types of Radiation Safety Officers in industrial, academic, government and military settings.

If your organization uses sealed sources for measurements or if you work in a laboratory setting, or if you regulate or supervise users of radioactive material, or work for the government, our five day course should be appropriate for your needs. It is always a good practice to consult your regulatory agency if you are taking the course to meet regulatory requirements. Please note that some exceptions are discussed below, particularly for the medical field.

Industrial Radiography. Our course is appropriate as training for Radiation Safety Officers in Industrial Radiography but it is not appropriate as initial training for users of Industrial Radiography equipment. This may seem to be conflicting advice but the initial training for radiographers involves training specific to the use of radiography which our course does not have.

However the required training for Radiation Safety Officers in Industrial Radiography includes planning a radiation safety program and all the related details which are generally required of all radiation safety programs. The requirements of the federal regulations for various types of Radiation Safety Officers can be seen on the website of the Health Physics Society.

The actual federal regulations tend to be written in confusing language but the requirements as restated by the Health Physics Society are more clearly written while at the same time accurately presenting the federal regulations.

The usual state and NRC requirements for Troxler and other brands of gauge users is one day of training specific to that brand of gauge. Medical Radiation Safety Officers — The initial training requirements for medical radiation safety officers are much more extensive than any 40 hour course, so anyone wishing to become a medical RSO should carefully investigate the requirements of their regulatory agency.
