Shane has the most fun and exciting activities, that you wouldn't even know you were getting in shape. The staff is like one big happy family. Your counselors become like older sisters or brothers to you because of the bonds you create during the summer. And the food is delicious! We are served normal foods like pizza and frozen yogurt, just in portion controlled sizes. I can't wait to get back to my "summer home" Camp Shane. I went to Camp Shane and could not believe how friendly the staff was and they made me feel human.

It was a no judgement zone for me to lose the weight and learn healthy eating habits, portion control and exercise. The nutrition and cooking classes were the best.
