In order for you to work in the industry you have to have thick skin and not take things residents say to you personally otherwise it can ruin your mood very easily. I am grateful for my experiences and opportunity that has come from my time at Gables. I was with the company for a year, I loved most of my time here, however a hostile work environment started to foster at my property. My Property Manager would play favorites with the only other female in the office. She would cuss at us and let the female leasing agent get away with whatever she wanted to.

My property was selling and they told me they had a job for me and then they said maybe and then had someone I've never met deliver the news to me that there wasn't a job for me while my Property and Regional was in the office. A spot opened up and I asked to be considered they didn't let me interview they told me I wouldn't like it.

I was let go 3 days before the sale of the property so they didnt have to pay me out on my stay bonus.
