Harold belles los angeles
Smaller side portions and the fried chicken seemed processed. Not the usual taste. Very different experience. The food there is always great and I will recommend this place any time in any day. That was not New Orleans food. Very disappointed. What happened to the heaping seafood platters with an amazing salad and corn on the cob? The food was outstanding and service very good. Excellent experience overall. Great food! I found this restaurant and immediately booked a reservation.
We were all amazed at the delicious food and great service. The food was good but it was a bit noisy. Good drinks as well.
Our waitress was good but didn't have a great personality, not very friendly just very business like. Food and service excellent. Catfish nuggets appetizer was enough for four adults. Scampi and etouffee deliciously flavorful. Portions enough for two adults. Jambalaya delightful in every way.
Ten thumbs up over all. Harold and Belle's does not disappoint when it comes to seafood prepared the New Orleans way! The seasoning is always on point and you receive your food piping hot from the kitchen. The fried cat fish is usually my go to, this time I had Shrimp Scampi and it was delicious.
Two in our party had the fried shrimp plate and the other person had the Jambalaya, we were all very pleased and satisfied, with leftovers to take home. They are still my most favorite seafood place in L. This is the best place for New Orleans style cooking. Always fresh, hot and mouth watering. I have been there now 4 times in the last 2 months.
Love the food and have been going to this place for over 30 years.. Great food and great environment. We had reservations and we were seated promptly.
I recommend the soft shell crab, catfish and fried chicken. I will definitely come here again when I'm LA. The Charbroiled oysters were worth the price of admission. I had a large bowl of gumbo it was great! My girlfriend had the catfish, it was enough to feed three people. I should have hung out in the bar area but grabbed a table in the back.
It was really nice. This is definitely one of our favorite restaurants at the top of our list where we love to dine. If you are looking for the best Creole food without going to New Orleans, Louisiana this is the place. The restaurant has been remodeled and looks great. The food here is amazing. You will never leave here disappointed. Food quality was disappointing. My expectations were not met with this visit.
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday as this was his 1st visit. The people were super nice. I expected the food to be better. The drinks were very good. The portions were generous. I had not eaten here in several years. I was not diaappointed. The food was cooked exactly as I remembered.
I ordered the catfish dinner with red beans, it was delicious. Love this place. The food here is simply delicious. They never disappoint. The service is great and the portions are plentiful. If you're looking for true New Orleans cuisine this is definitely without a doubt the best place to get it. Food and customer service always on point! Our waitress exceeded expectations. I invited a friend from New Orleans who loved the authentic N. O flavor. Best Creole cooking I have had outside of New Orleans.
Reminds me of my family Sunday dinner. Food is amazing, customer service great. Nice comfortable sitting. I don't know what took us so long to go back to Harold and Belle's. Everything is outstanding and the amount of food is surprising. We will be back!!! Everything is JUST right. Friendly well mannered staff, know how…. Since then, we've been perfecting our Pies by using the highest Quality….
Poor service because short staffed. Waitress multi tasked seating people, take out and waited on tables. Plan on being cold due to ocean breeze. This business is very business-like and I would do business with this business again if I have business with them. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness Rooted in authenticity and meant to be eaten the right way - with….
