Having stayed at the awful hotel next door we stayed at the Home Phoenix for two nights and although it's clean, sleeping is not an option.

The hotel is in a good location and the staff are very friendly but they don't seem to realise they are running a hotel. Inviting friends in, playing music, doing washing and shouting until 2am isn't acceptable. The only reason I'm not giving this a 1 rating is because it's cheap and a good location. Perfect for its money. Very nice place. Yes, toilet and bathroom are shared but always very clean. Very quiet at night. This made the salad, a great salad for a lover of blue cheese. The extra touch was everywhere. The city was clean and safe for evening strolls, good variety of places to eat or get a drink. We had the most delicious meal at Tratto Italian restaurant; the staff was fantastic and pleasant. We had a wonderful evening. Their wine carta was extensive but their desserts was exquisite. The rotatory aquarium and butterfly garden exhibition were nice place for the kids and young at heart.

Short drive there is Old town Scottsdale lovely shops and bars and there is Fogo de Chao Brazilian steakhouse. You have to go to experience it all. Good restaurants and art scene. Desert Botanical Garden is gorgeous. Taliesan West is always worth the visit. The city of Phoenix is great more I can say for Hampton Inn that, unfortunately they have no clue about the light rail or any other transportation.

Very sad to say go home was only cleaned once in four days and that with appointment for that kind of money it should have been cleaned every day. I was told that the price was guaranteed from booking. The room was spotless clean and the bathroom was newly renovated.

Microwave and fridge in room. Lovely pool. Lots of places to eat nearby. Close to highway. Just be aware there is no elevator. If you want to go to Mexican across the road I suggest booking. The hotel was conveniently located to the car rental and airport. We were pleasantly surprised at check in that they offer a free happy hour with food and free alcoholic beverages. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy! I came from the east coast and was a little nervous.

But they make you feel so comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I loved my stay there and I recommend everyone to stay there.

Great amenities for the money. Golf, pool, restaurant and bar on the property. Resort located close to airport and scenic mountains for hiking. Our second time coming and we will be back! Cleaning crew was really nice and the front desk staff are amazing very down to earth. I love this motel because of the staff but the roaches is getting bad at a lot of these motel.
