Worked at amazon Swansea for icts, the company themselves I found OK, I was paid on time, any queries I had were responded too. Once I started given most of my uniform but items were missing which took a while for me to get, they don't tell you that your first month you get paid minimum wage, then your pay goes up.

Training for the job is non existent, you get told to sit on your own for a few hours and read through a folder, that is it. Once you start you'll get shown around, the job itself isn't hard but very long hours, 72 in a row before 3 days off but you finish on nights so more like 2 days off.

Again the job itself is easy but you are expected to patrol for 2 hours straight at times and not given any tasks which is boring and repetitive and whilst most of the staff there are tidy people, some and one supervisor were awful, security manager isn't the best, changed your shifts without telling you, ringing you to go in on days off.

Not the worst job in the world but you wouldn't want to work there forever unless you want to spend most of your life standing bored in amazon warehouse. Amazon want you there but don't give you anything to do. This job is constantly advertising which tells you everything you need to know really. Pros Paid on time, free drinks. Yes There are 1 helpful reviews 1 No. Simply don't work for this company its run by a bunch of bullys and turn coats and never go to management cos they treat you like like your thick you'll work 12 hrs a day 6 days a week made to wear a uniform that's only good enough as a clown suite put of yourr duties is to cover reception desk its like being back at school if you need the toilet if your in a manned position you ha very to wait until someone covers you.

I love the environment and you cannot get tired of this environment. You will always remember it where ever you go. The environment is very good and the job can be fun once you meet other spontaneous officers. The only problem is you are required to do 6 days and only get 3 days which I believe is unfair to officers because that is such little days to recover until ur back on to 12hr shift standing for 6 days consecutively which fairly not reasonable.

They should start to think twice about doing 4 days off. The 6 days on makes you physically sick and you have these officers calling sick everyday. On your days off the only thing you can do is sleep to recover due to physically feeling sick and the lack of sleep you get. We are only human and definitely think they seriously need to increase the pay because that is actually not fair, the wage is terrible and paying monthly on the 15th makes it even more unmotivating and infuriating.
